I read all the positive reviews and ordered this TV. It blew me away. The picture, the responsiveness of the remote commands, the features. If I had to do it all over again, I would stick with a Samsung. The only regret I have is that I did not buy a bigger one!.

I am not an A/V afficionado but I needed a bigger TV for my family room, which is rather small. The price point was right at $525 from Amazon. This is an upgrade from a 26" Aquos LCD. Let me tell you, this is one nice TV. I have never seen colors this vivid on an LCD before (Dynamic mode - just do it). It has inspired me to buy a Blu-ray player (PS3). I can think of no reason why someone would spend twice as much for the 1080 version since the extra lines would not equate to a better picture on a screen this size. The remote is excellent. The menus are intuitive and simple to navigate without studying a manual the size of a bible first. I love this thing. The only downside is that I am spending more time on my derierre in front of it gawking at all the HD channels. Highly recommended.
